I was introduced to Pilates in 2008 when I moved back to Buffalo from San Diego and took a job as a personal trainer in a Pilates studio.  Initially I was intimidated by the complexity of Pilates.  I had been a personal trainer since 2002, an athlete, a marathon runner, a figure competitor.  This was a completely different approach to exercise.  At first I didn’t think Pilates was for me, but the more I learned and practiced I realized this is exactly what I need, that Pilates is exactly what everyone needs!

Over the years I have had the great opportunity to learn from a few great mentors. I studied in Nosara, Costa Rica where completed my Mat and Reformer training with Balanced Body.  From there I went on to study the Trapeze, Barrels, and Chair and I completed my 488 hour Comprehensive Pilates Certification in Buffalo, NY.  I am always seeking new information and certifications to make Pilates fun, interesting, and beneficial to all of my individual clients needs.

Pilates has changed my life and my body, and I love to see my clients grasp, appreciate and fall in love with it as I have.  The only way to understand it is to experience it.  Pilates challenges the whole body in connection to the mind through fluid, purposeful movement.  I seek to help all find their best body through this intelligent exercise.
